# Expert Suggestions:

01 -
  • It's ready in under 15 minutes, which means dinner doesn't have to feel like a big production.
  • The air fryer does something magical to the cheese—it gets bubbly and slightly crispy at the edges in a way that feels impossible to mess up.
  • You can use whatever toppings are hiding in your fridge, so there's no waste and endless variations.
02 -
  • The air fryer runs hot, so checking at 6 minutes is smarter than hoping for 8—once the cheese browns, it can go from perfect to overdone in a heartbeat.
  • Thin bread will crisp beautifully but might get too dark before the cheese bubbles, so adjust your cooking time accordingly or start with thicker slices.
03 -
  • Toast your bread slices lightly in the air fryer for 2 minutes before adding toppings if you're worried about the center staying soft—it gives you a crispier base to work with.
  • A light spray of cooking oil on top before air frying encourages deeper browning and even more crispiness without adding much fat.
