# Expert Suggestions:

01 -
  • It comes together faster than waiting for delivery, and tastes like you spent an hour in the kitchen.
  • The buttery garlic sauce clings to every strand of noodle without feeling heavy or oily.
  • You can toss in whatever protein or vegetables are sitting in your fridge and it still works.
  • The toasted sesame aroma makes your kitchen smell like your favorite noodle shop.
02 -
  • Do not skip draining the noodles well, extra water will dilute the sauce and make everything taste flat.
  • Keep the heat at medium when you cook the garlic, high heat will burn it in seconds and ruin the whole dish.
  • Toss the noodles in the sauce while everything is still hot, cold noodles will not absorb the flavors the same way.
03 -
  • Toast your sesame seeds in a dry pan for a minute before sprinkling them on top, it deepens their flavor and makes them even more fragrant.
  • If you like your noodles extra garlicky, reserve a little raw minced garlic to stir in at the very end for a sharper bite.
  • Use a wok if you have one, the high sides make tossing the noodles so much easier and you will not lose half of them on the stovetop.
